FAQ

How do I import my old database?

First you need to get your old database file. If you still have access to your previous installation:

  1. Start Libra
  2. Go to the database list
  3. Select the “share” button on the top right (the one with the triangle)
  4. Save the file somewhere (for example, send it to yourself by email)

If you don’t have access to the installation, try looking for a “Libra” folder in your old phone or SD card.

In any case, to import the database:

  1. Save the file to the “Libra” folder in your phone’s memory (check the question below if you can’t find it)
  2. Go to the database list
  3. Open the menu, and select the “import database” folder
  4. Select the correct file
  5. Enjoy

I want to import my database but I can’t find the right folder

From the main chart view, select the “share” option from the menu. A message will pop up telling you where the folder was created.

Some devices hide the internal memory when you have an SD card inserted. If you still can’t import the data, try removing your SD card first.

The calculations are wrong

Libra uses the trend values instead of the real weight to calculate its statistics.

This is understandably confusing and will change in the future.

Is there a version of Libra for iOS?

There’s currently no port of Libra for iOS. As much as I’d like to do it, I simply haven’t had the time.

It is however in my long-term plans, so it will happen sooner or later.

Please help me lose weight

I can’t. I’m not a medical doctor, so I’m not qualified to give anybody health advice. Also, a weight loss plan will vary a lot from one person to the next, so even if I were qualified, it’d be hard to do it over the internet.

If you’re serious about losing weight, please contact a qualified professional who can create a personalised plan for you.
